Tackling Stress in the NHS: Project Overview and Links
The Tackling Stress in the NHS project was launched in February 2015 by Business Psychologist, Alan Bradshaw, to raise awareness of work-related stress in the NHS and to explore solutions. Alan's also planning events on this topic Autumn 2015 onwards.
Stress is a huge and costly problem in the NHS, impacting both on employers and employees. Of course, it's also a complex issue and not simple to solve, but there's a lot that can be done to prevent and reduce stress. In the last couple of years, Alan has worked with several NHS Trusts, working with managers and staff to help them manage work-related stress and boost their resilience. It's this experience that's prompted Alan to set up this project - to do something about stress in the NHS and make a difference to staff wellbeing.

Tackling Stress in the NHS: Social media links
Want to get involved? That's great, I've set up a number of social media channels so you can do just that. It would be great to know what you think about the issues and hear your ideas about solutions. Here are the links you need...
I also post regularly on my blog too about this topic. For example, check out this blog post on outstanding leadership development at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
