Quality of Working Life (QoWL)
Over the past four years, I have been working with academic psychologists based in Portsmouth, UK, who have been researching and benchmarking Quality of Working Life (QoWL) in organisations.
My colleagues in Portsmouth developed psychometric tools such as the Work-Related Quality of Life Scale for assessing QoWL. This tool is now used by researchers all over the world for measuring Quality of Working Life and assessing well-being at work. Our commercial work involved providing surveys and related consultancy to clients and the development of an web-enabled tool for asssessing QoWL in individuals.
